This species, in fact I suspect this particular frog has appeared 5 times in my basement near a damp drain. I have moved him to the garden each time. Should I make a small open terrarium for him next to the drain if he returns?

Description

This frog, or one of it's relatives, shows up in late summer and takes up residence in a tray of vegetable starts on the woodbox on my covered back porch. It eats fruit flies drawn by the damp potting soil. This season the plants were moved but the frog returned twice after we relocated it to the garden, so we potted a plant for it to hide in, and put out fruit scraps to draw fruit flies. Recently we made a habitat, a 'free range' terrarium, on an eye-level shelf with moss, plants, aquarium-type hiding places, a small water dish, and a small heat mat on one side. The frog seems happy with this set up and can be seen all times of the day & night hunting fruit flies or in the water dish, or just hanging out. We're not sure if it will overwinter there or go under the deck as has been usual habit over the years.
