I think it's the same Hyla species I found earlier this year.

Probably torosa based on habitat (isolated pool in formerly flowing stream) and location.
Found on top of limestone canyon bluff
Found jumping next to turtle pond in a clearing. Less than an inch in length.
This frog is from the southwestern part of Texas along the Gulf of Mexico. They are also found in Mexico.
A Newt with a grey top and bright orange belly. there was no orange connecting the eye to the chin. It was discovered in a small creek pool. It was approxametly 5 inches long
