Description

These flowers were scattered throughout Ascot Hills. Some plants with plenty of flowers while others just having two or three. They also varied in height so were as short as three feet while the others were as tall as 5 feet. The flower was bright yellow with a dark brown almost black center. The sunflower itself as large as my hand or a little bit bigger. There was about 10-11 petals on the flower.

Description

I wanted to assume that the flower has fully blossomed and it would blossom into a 4 petal flower. It was a darker orange at the base of the flower then got lighter to almost a yellow color. It came up about 1 foot off the ground.

Description

This plant was pretty small and wide shrub. The leaves of the plant were glossy and had a deep green color and had a narrow wide shape while the berries it contained a red orange color. The berries were similar to the size of a pea.

The flower was a mainly off white color up to the top rim where there was a shade of light purple. The leaves of the flower was low and spread around it while the floor came up higher than the leaves.

Description

The butterfly looked to be the size of my hand. It had a long antenna that has a bulb at the tip. The main color of the wings were orange but also had a white circles that was outlined by black.Looking at both wings there was so specific pattern to the white spots. The butterfly was flying from flower to flower on the bush.

Although the picture is dark. This insect was hoping around the Metro Station. It was a tan/natural color. It moves very quickly. It has antennas and I think 6 legs. It was as small as my picky.

Description

I see this insect I presume at the train station on California State University Los Angeles. It has six legs and outlining of the body is red while the rest is blue. It's pretty tiny similar to the size of a toe.

Description

I saw this Gopher around the houses close to the school. The gopher kept popping up his head from the ground. I couldn't tell the size because I didn't see it actually coming out of ground. But the gophers head was the size of my phone or what I presumed.

Description

I saw this squirrel around the dorms. It was very. It was a light brown color with a very long tail. It was pretty small, the length of a tire for a car. His tail was the largest and shown the most movement.
