Plant has leaves grouped in threes. Growing underneath an oak tree, as it should. Surrounded by many bare branches that look similar, as though they have lost their leaves. So perhaps this plant is losing its leaves? Not sure if that is what the changing color might indicate (from green to red-yellow).
