A pair of this large gecko-type lizard where seen about 20 feet up in a Bursera tree in the early morning.

Giant Haitian centipede seen crossing road about 11 am. This creature was about 10 inches long and in a big hurry.

Beautiful small butterfly observed in pine forest near El Pelempito, Barhona, Dominican Republic. Only one of these was observed.

Only seen this species four times in the area. This individual looks different since its dots are less distinct, probably because its still a juvenile. Unfortunately the photo is a bit out of focus.
