Ashes (Genus Fraxinus)Observer
rwinquistDescription
The tree was found in my neighborhood in Medina Ohio. I estimate its height to be 30-35ft. It seems to be a not old but not young tree because it does have a rough texture but it is not as rough and as shaggy as some really old ones. The leaf is compound and it is opposite and is toothed. It has has 6 leaflets and the 7th is at the very top facing up. The leaflets are all about the same size.
