it really was not happy about being in the cup

i'm guessing its something in the verbena family? i really don't know but it's pretty abundant in this area

along path at salado creek greenway, near the trailhead at tobin park

i'm confident this is a callirhoe sp. but the leaves are kind of throwing me off. pretty sure it's leiocarpa. right off trail at the salado creek greenway

saw this one on the bank a shallow, slow moving stream, and two more by the edge of a large pond, both during the day. looks like it was blanchard's cricket frog, thanks!

easily found at the beginning of both the east & west trails, but become somewhat scarcer as you go on

these are all over the place

im like 95% sure my id is correct but there aren't many pictures available. pictures are of two different plants, both fairly close to small bodies of water

a frostweed colonized by some kind of bug but i dont know what kind. they look like some kind of aphid to me or maybe plant bug nymphs
