Some kind of common weedy asteraceae found in the Waianae mountains. Extremely pubescent especially on underside of leaves and petioles. Hairs are slightly curled. No flowers yet. Collected from soil sample.

Common aster in the Waianae mountains. Can grow 6ft+ tall before flowering and is usually a single stalk sometimes a few. Have not managed to collect a flowering specimen so I haven’t been able to ID it. Possibly an Erigeron species. Collected form soil sample.
