While watching for mule deer, I observed a coyote below the rock point that I was sitting on. I first observed the coyote calling, but could not locate it. About 10 minutes later, the coyote walked into view. It was walking quickly, it stopped in a sunny, rocky area and threw its head back and howled. It then ran off and disappeared from view again.

Observed about 30 mule deer pass through wash area in a period of 2 hours. In total, there were approximately 15 does, 5 fawns, and 10 bucks. The deer were all walking quickly, due to hunter activity in the area.

We spotted 3 mule deer in a grassy, meadow area beside the road. One was a 3-point buck male and the other 2 were females. They were grazing and unaffected by passing cars. Seen with Hailey and Chanel.
