This is a picture of a off spring growing from the root of a mature Sunburst Lotus tree.
The tree has yellow leaves during the spring and turns light green during the summertime and back to a yellow colour in the fall. And it grows to about 30 to 40 feet tall.
The Sunburst Lotus tree reminds me of a Tamarind tree. I always wondered if the species are related.
