Description

blackish back, possibly with some reddish dots on abdomen. Lighter brown on ventral side, with approximately x-shaped marking on underside of abdomen. Did not see spider in person, just the photos. Ideas?

Description

Several white, tubular chambers stacked like cord wood and affixed to a stem of my Aronia shrub. Opening up one of the chambers, I could see a gray, larval body. What are these?
