There was a 2 and a half inch fowler's toad sitting right next to an american toad. The fowler's toad is on the the right in the photo with both.
This area had a abundant wild baby toads along the shore that were only about a centimeter long. I saw at least twenty of them. I'm pretty sure they were american toads because they were reddish and how small they were at this time of year.
There was a wild five-lined skink basking on the rocks. It was about 4 inches long.
There was a mid-sized colony of barn swallows nesting under this pier. I saw at least 30 individuals there were probably more.
There were about thirty wild tree swallows using the nest boxes near the visitors center.
This was a wild frog almost 1 inch long.Northern cricket frogs were particularly abundant on the trail between goose pond and cash lake. I saw at least 9 of them on the ground.
There were three wild green frogs calling at the side of the pond. They were about 3 inches long.
This wild fast moving snake was about 4 feet long. It had very shiny scales and fled quickly to the bushes when I approached. Because the white markings were only present close to the jaw and it had glossy scales I think it is a northern black racer, though it also could have been an eastern rat snake.
This was a wild turtle with a carapace about an inch and a half long. There were at least 3 turtles of this species in the pond at the time.
This red-eared slider had about a 2 inch carapace. There were dozens of juvenile turtles in the pond with it. At least 5 of them were were red-eared sliders. These were wild turtles.
This wild skink was basking on a park bench when I found him. He was about 7 inches long.
I saw three of these during the two hours I was at the park. This one was roughly 6 inches long and was basking on a park bench when I found it.
This wild snapping turtle was reasonably large it had a carapace that was about 18 inches long or so. The snapping turtles were unusually active, I saw 4 snapping turtles of comparable size within 2 hours of photographing this one.

Not a lot of markings but I'm pretty sure this was an American toad because it was very reddish and generally had one wart to a spot.
