I found this little frog in my Kalanchoe (spelling?) plant. He was in there along with another frog. He was in between sizes of a quarter and a silver dollar coin. He was a light brown, tan color with a short, black line leading from his eye to his front leg. I took some pictures of him, then safely moved him back to the plant.
I found this fellow right when I opened my breezeway door. He was just cruising along and minding his own business. He didn't show anger when I got close to him, and he was quite friendly. He was 13-16 inches long, just over a foot. He had layered colors: black, tan, and brown. He also had interesting square and circle shaped patterns. Later on, he had moved out in our driveway. I decided to get some gloves and pick him up. After that, I safely placed him underneath an oak tree.
Our yellow lab spotted this little snake before we did, and we took a few pictures before releasing him in a safe location. He was about 8 1/2 inches long, dark beige with a black head, red underside, and an light tan ring around his neck.
