Found among leaf litter along the wooded banks of McCullough Creek at Meadowbrook Park, Urbana, Illinois.
Male, found at night in a prairie remnant nr Wade Creek, Nachusa Grasslands.
Female found on UIUC Research Park feeding on gravid female differential grasshopper. The mantis was kept in the laboratory and produced an ootheca on 18 October 2012.
On sidewalk near Evers Building on the research park at the University of Illinois.

Poor quality cell phone photographs of a juvenile Dekay's brownsnake found along a rough trail through a fen.
Female laying eggs amongst low herbaceous vegetation near Bivin's Pond, Nachusa Grasslands.
Found indoors. This was the only shot I managed to get of this roach before it ran away; the focus is somewhat soft but it's clearly P. australasiae.
Crossing road. Appeared to be a male.
