Description
This was a delight. This was I think a Mom Harbor seal and fat baby swimming and playing together turning lots of somersaults and lots of head contact couldnt tell if it was kisses licks or head nuzzles. This adult is doing what appears to be a HIGH FIVE to pup.

Description
Neatly gutted Great Horned Owl. Remains were in 3 ares a few ft apart. This is the tail feathers and feathered talons. also found both cleaned intact wings and the skull which I posted. A very neat kill. No meat wasted. No scattered feathers as in a Cat kill I believe...any takes?

Description
Not far from the dead owl I found this rodent backbone embedded in 2 fur bundles. I have 2 questions what is the longest owl pellet any one has seen? How long on a big Great Horned Owl is the area where the pellets r formed. I have seen 4 inch pellets. So this is long for a pellet or and a coyote scat. It was on the ground in pellet area under a Mont Pine tree branch. Next to what looked like a pellet?

Description
Dead owl neatly gutted only backbone scull and tail and wing feathers left. Was in three areas within a few ft of each part. Near a Monterey Pine. Was on the ground wonder who got it?
