Along the Boardwalk Trail.
Along the boardwalk trail.
In front of the visitor's center.
Saw this guy in front of the visitor's center.
Saw this guy near the gift shop.
The Shower house nearest Cactus Campground had lots of these guys from juvenile to adult. Although I checked all the other lighted places in the park that night this was the only place I found them. It looks like this invasive exotic population could be checked if somebody does something soon.
Yeah, I know from the pic it could just as easily be a muskrat, but he actually swam right under us- I just wasn't ready with the camera.
Saw at least 10 individuals.
Two individuals perched in a dead tree, one flying.
Three of these guys were feeding on Milkweed. I've never seen a caterpillar on Milkweed before except for Monarchs.
On Polk flowers.
On Dill flower.
I've never seen one of these tiny guys before. He was on milkweed.
I'm not sure of this id. Also known as a Common Gray Moth.
