Growing on alder treel with many other lichens and bryophyte. Foliose, sorediate lobe margins. Dark green upper thallus, white/black lower. Margins perforated some margins with finger like apothecia. Found on The Evergreen State College campus, Parking Lot C.

Found growing on downed conifer log. Tough, punky flesh. Blackened, textured top with concentric ridges, red/white margin. Lower surface covered in pores, cream staining, dingy yellow. 12 cm broad, 6 cm thick at base. Found on the Evergreen State College Farm Trail.

Cladonia with brown-tipped apothecia. Found growing in rotting log on a mound. Single podetia with 5-7 branching brown apothecia on top. Green stalk. Growing in bryophyte substrate. 3 cm. Found at Mima Mounds; Thurston Co WA.

Found growing in dense dune grases among salal, about 80 meters from beach. 6-10 cm tall, cap 2-5 cm broad, umbulate cap, conical to convex or plane. Caramel brown, white around cap margins. Pallid gills and stipe. Bruising blue. No annulus. Found at Twin Harbor State Park; Grayland WA.

Growing in dune grass, right next to coastal pine. Specimens anywhere from 5-40 cm broad, 5-25 cm tall. Bulbous base, smooth white stalk with annulus, bright red cap with white spots. Flesh thick and firm. Found at Twin Harbor State Park; Grayland WA.

Growing among bryophyte substrate approx. 3 meters from logging road. Cap 3 cm broad, 2 cm tall (young specimen). Orange with tan concentric lines. Bleeding bright red latex. Firm flesh. Gills attached, pallid brown. Found at Mosquito Lake; Trout Lake WA.

Growing out of decomposed wood in an alley. Large brown mushroom growing in clusters, yellower at base, slowly turning hazelnut brown up stipe and cap. Gills rusty brown. Flesh flexible. Found on Westside Olympia.

Growing on piece of wood on side of trail. Small bird's nest fungi. Pallid grey outer cortex, tan inner cup. 1 cm tall. Growing in groups. Full of "eggs". Found on farm trail, the Evergreen State College.

Found on the side of a cleanly sawed-off conifer log. Banded color, grey to green to brown to tan. Small, 1-4 cm broad. Flexible flesh. Purple to brown pores on bottom. Found on the Evergreen State College campus.
