While scaling the perimeter of Spring Lake I happened to come across the remains of a Turkey or another bird of some sort, judging by its large feet. The feathers, which were either light browns dappled with white or just white, were strewn about the site near the water bank. Fragments of the bird's skeleton lied nearly in the water as if the predator dragged the carcass over in order to quench their thirst.
A Southern Alligator Lizard that was in the process of shedding its skin. Found between some wooden debris in a large field behind Montgomery High School.
