There were about 20 of these vultures in this one small area alone. About 40-50 in the area. There are some feral cats that live here and I was amazed that they walk side-by-side with these large vultures.
Closest yet that I've gotten to a Bald Eagle. Saw 3 different ones here today. This was my first trip to this area but it is well known as a haven for Bald Eagles. Certain times of the year you can easily see as many as 30 in one day.
Can someone please ID what these berries are? Only thing I saw worth taking a photo of out on this cold rainy day =/
There was about 8 of these Domestic Guineafowl that I had to stop from crossing a busy road. Made for some great photos!
I'm fairly certain these are all Ring-Billed Gulls as the ones I saw close up near by were Ring-Bills.
This bird was swimming around in a creek that empties into the Susquehanna River. This is the first time I've ever seen one of these and it was alone. It was very difficult to get close enough for a photo. It wanted to keep its distance from me and eventually flew away. Sightings like this make my day!
This one is completely new to me. Really need help identifying this one. It was a bird feeder in the park where all of these other birds were hanging out. I thought it was a nuthatch at first until seeing it closer.
Was far away when I took this shot. Had to crop this very zoomed in image but I'm happy I saw her.
This appears to be a Juvenile Gull but it was so large and the solid black beak made me unsure if it was a Juvenile Ring Billed Gull. It was the only of this coloration among a very large flock of ring billed gulls and it seemed larger than the ring billed gulls.
