Seen in the lower tier of the rainforest, that is lower half of the forest. This individual was actively moving from tree to tree, and was arboreal for my observation period of about five minutes.
Not sure whether or not to call this Spinomantis aglavei or S. fimbriatus. It was smaller than most S. aglavei I have seen, 37 mm, and looks a little different, but perhaps it was a juvenile rather than S. fimbriatus. Found on a tree at night in Andasibe National Park near the upper dam.
Six Boophis burgeri were found at night, at least three perched on Pandanus, near upper Ambatomandondona dam in Andasibe National Park.
Boophis sibilans found at night near upper Ambatomandondona dam in Andasibe National Park. Only B. sibilans heard calling rather than albipunctatus or B. luciae.
Looks like Boophis tasymena but there were many frogs calling that sounded like B. erythrodactylus. Found at night near the upper Ambatomandondona dam in Andasibe National Park.
Boophis boehmei in Andasibe National Park at Ambatomandondona lower dam. Sampled as part of work with www.frogprobiotics.org
