is a climber with loads of blue flowers and its now infested with butterfly larve.
Rocky shore, intertidal; in rockpool.
Small hairy moth with nice pattern
It was climbing and then from the top it gave beautiful pose for this picture.
Size: 12 mm
After the summer monsoon rains start, it is pretty velvety red mites seen across the lands.
Sightings are rare in area during day but we got chance to see this huge and massive python.
The adult moths have transparent wings with broad dark brown borders. There is a tuft of brown hairs on the tip of the abdomen. The tuft on the end of the abdomen of the female is rather bushier than that of the male. Unfertilised females are quite amusing as they are inclined to keep wiggling this tuft in a figure of eight, presumably to better disperse a pheromone which they emit, in order to attract a male.
As per comment on my image at INW by Sindhu Ramchandran.
