I made my screened porch an exclusive green anole area by removing the brown anole for a few years. This let the greenies breed and eat without competiton. Now the greenies are the majority around my house. Try it if you are in Florida, it will take a few years before you see the population change. It is well worth it since most houses are all brown anoles and will give the greenies a chance. I am trying to do the same with green tree frogs, But getting rid of the cuban tree frogs seems impossible!
Lots of sundew growing in this spot. I have been wanting to get some pics of carnivorous plants and I spotted this giant sundew garden! Hope it is this easy and plentiful when I go looking for more Like Sarracenias!
Hanging small flowers on bush. Went back last week and they have already died back. So must be a winter bloomer!
This was a capture and relocate. Didn't have to touch it at all just put the bucket in front and with a little persuasion it climbed right in. It didn't want to be in the yard either I guess!
didn't get a good shot of flower and leaf in the same shot. hope it is still able to be identified. Anyone know of a good field guide to Florida plants?
