In upland area
Displaying warning colors. Catch and release out of a non snake friendly yard.
This was a capture and relocate. Didn't have to touch it at all just put the bucket in front and with a little persuasion it climbed right in. It didn't want to be in the yard either I guess!
In a small ditch right next to road. It was sleeping until it heard my footsteps

This spider caught and ate a frog. It was really lethargic when I took this pic and didn't move the whole time I was taking pictures. I guess it had a good meal! you can see the frog in the web in the background.
Small flower growing directly out of ground on stem with no leaves. spot where it came out of ground didn't have any leaves around it, nearest plant with leaves was 10 inches away. It almost looked like a fake flower, at first I thought someone brought a fake bouquet of flowers out into the woods and dropped this!

Florida scarlet snake Cemophora coccinea cooccinea. Bright white bands, Snout was barely orange! Remember Coral snakes ALWAYS have a black snout! This was a rescue from a yard a few years back (with an old digital camera!) Relocated to a more habitable area without people!
