Found in college station near the arboretum and bee creek dead on a park road with no obvious signs of trauma.
4 to 5 other Nerodia rhombifers present in encircled area
in range of blotched subspecies but looks more like a yellow-bellied water snake/ nevertheless they are both subspecies of the Plain-bellied water snake
Sandhill Cranes passing over College Station TX at 13:30. Two groups 20-75 individuals. Path SouthEast South toward North/NW.

Dead Red-eared Slider shell in the creek, almost fully eaten.
Saw 4 small frogs in the creek.
Caught two Western Lesser Siren in a funnel trap baited with dead fish.
