Description

Grackles all over the place. There was a group of three males all "stargazing," then occasionally freaking out and getting all puffy and loud. There were a couple of females in a nearby bush that I assume the displays were for.

Ah, from allaboutbirds:
"Territorial “ruff-out” displays of erected feathers, fanned tail, and bill held skyward may erupt into wrestling matches, with competing males locking talons and rolling on the ground."
