Single adult gecko.
I saw six geckos. Most were juveniles.
Three large adult geckos. I think they are Mediterranean House Geckos. They are larger and have much more clearly defined and darker spots then other geckos I have seen.
Found this plant at beginning of trailhead just before Indian Canyons PS.
Very small linear stemming w/ clusters of flowers growing in sand wash.
This small plant appears to be more like a cacti than flowering systemic plant. It has small prickly hairs. Appears to have had small flowetsflowers but now dried out.
I think these are Mediterranean house geckos but I'm not sure. These pictures are taken in Palm Springs, CA. I saw four adults and one baby gecko. They were on a lamp post.

Observed on Willow Creek below trail between Skunk Cabbage Meadow and Round Valley on 6/29/2009 at 10:23am.
A yellow flowered creeping lotus = perhaps Lotus strigosus var. hirtellus but we're not seeing any stipules (which Jepson specifies).
Inside the house. Can anyone do better than millipede for the ID? Thanks!
Ravens riding the thermals high above Idyllwild.
This is the single out of focus photo I got of this tiny butterfly.
