Need help identifying this species. Please and thank you in advance.
My coworker shot this photograph at work of a beautiful Western Fence Lizard. The warm weather conditions seem to bring them out.
Saw many Western Fence Lizards basking in the sun today. It was a hot and humid day in Los Angeles today.

"A quick check on WhatsThatBug seems to indicate this beetle is a Stout's Hardwood Borer (Polycaon stoutii). It was about as long as the diameter of a quarter. I found it trundling along the base of the first tree west of La Brea Ave., on north side of Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90046."
About 0.5 to 0.75 inches from tip of head to end of abdomen. The abdomen shape reminds me of a praying mantis'.
