This was frustrating - I finally spotted Grace's Warbler with my binos (a life bird for me) and snapped all these pictures of what turned out to be a yellow-rumped warbler! I checked with my binos again - and there was one yellow-rumped mixed in with the Grace's. I tried to snap one of the Grace's before they flew off and this was the best I could get! Oh well...
Accidentally photographed this guy when I was chasing Grace's warblers
Not sure if this one was planted or not - native to the region
I've been told these squirrels have great personalities
Captive - this one was in an aquarium but there is a pond at the Arboretum with a captive population as well (sign from pond pictured). Unfortunately my best picture seems to be of an individual missing an eye - bummer. In the photo with 2 fish, the larger one is a speckled dace
Finally got some good pictures of these guys!
I just love these guys - and they are everywhere!
This species is native to the region but this is a captive specimen at the Flagstaff Arboretum - I'm posting it because there's no live photos on EOL or Flickr for this widespread and common fish!
A single male with his harem
Not sure if this is rufous or broad-tailed
