The species belongs to hawkmoth. I reared this one and after hatching the later seethrough part of the wings had still scales on it.
The last instar caterpillar goes into the soil where it changes into a chrysalis.
This is a parasitic fly that came out of a Graphium sarpedon chrysalis.
