Or perhaps a tunicate?
About 1/4", bell looks like a child's drawing of the moon if the moon was made of clear goo. "Portholes/craters" ringed with white dots. Seems to have several long hairy tentacles like a gooseberry or other comb jelly, but the bell doesn't seem to have comb plates.
3-4 inches long, found under dock. Very curious of me.
Mating. In crack on sea wall next to dock. Male about 4" across.
Closely-related Dungeness crab male carries the female around for up to 2 weeks waiting for her to molt. Maybe this species does too.
About 4-5" across.
Small, about 3-4". Several under the docks, curious about what we were doing.
Neat how you can see the "ribs" inside.
I have no idea what this is, or if I even got it to the right order.
