I saw a monarch fly over our home mid-morning. I haven't seen one at the monarch sanctuary since the last recorded sighting there and thought that they might have been blown out of town by strong breezes (Beaufort 6) on Sunday and Monday last week (6-7 days ago). Having seen this one, I'll keep a sharp eye out when observing at the sanctuary.
