I forget which kind of angelica this is.
A pair, in the surf beside the largest "bird rock."
From past files . I hardly ever see this plant in bloom in San Mateo County .
About 1/2" long sea cucumber.
About 3/4" long, under rubble. ID as per: http://calphotos.berkeley.edu/cgi/img_query?stat=BROWSE_IMG&where-ordr=Neoloricata&where-taxon=Lepidozona+mertensii&title_tag=Lepidozona+mertensii
Many, all sizes.
Possibly 10-tentacled burrowing anemone? 10 tentacles, between small rocks at bottom of tidepool. See alternate photo for stalk.
