Several dozen seen in sandy area near coast . Flower heads too dense to be A.nuttallii .
This is the common goldenrod on coastal bluffs in much of the SF Bay area . Eriogonum latifolium in the foreground . Coyote Brush in the background .
Possibly planted .
A dozen found at the high tide line north of Pescadero Creek .
Found in coastal bluff .

Feeding on bee or wasp.
Small flock picking at shore rocks and on beach.
Stranded on beach.
Feeding in sand near shore and racing back and forth avoiding the waves.
On beach and hunting near shore.
With Pelagic Cormorants on the right side of the rock in the photo.
On edge of bluff slope . Male and female are on separate plants . I could not reach the rest of the plants .
Flock of around one dozen birds.
