Found in a grassland on the south face of a hill at Monte Bello Open Space Preserve. This clump was growing in the middle of a small trail parallel to Canyon trail on the right of the dead looking mossy trees. The trail being covered with flowers should have been my first clue that I wasn't on the main trail where I thought I was. (eNature)
Scaly top, bruises yellow, dry top, small mammal chew marks. Growing on wood chips at Stanford campus (outside Memorial Church). Possibly Agaricus?
Pair of coyotes marking territory from vista hill along road to well past station 8; male would mark a spot female (?) would check it then they would move a couple of hundred feet and do the same
