Possible algae growing on underside of rotting log.

These were growing on a bay leaf. Not sure which species this is.

not sure of this ID as it seems looking in my various books, this guy's tail is much longer than any of the hawks I see in the books.

Very large clumps just below the dam. On dead either alder or cottonwood
FINALLY I saw a Coyote on my regular walk up here! It had taken over a year for one of the commoner mammals to show itself. This dog looked healthy.
This one puzzled me for a long time; I thought it might be a Field Sparrow. Leslie, Ginny, and Ron joined me up there, and internet discussion also helped to seal the ID. But it was fun!
