Sorry about the blurriness, it was pretty dark by then.
Late evening near sunset. Lots of little bunnies along the side of Skyline Ridge Trail.
Unbranched antlers in velvet.
Lots of these along Hamm's Gulch Trail.
A couple of plants flowering up in the bushes.
Teeny little flowers on tiny plants.
On a fallen twig.
Tall, profuse-flowering stems; leaves crinkly, linear, and basal. Common in the preserve.
Lots of little fish in shallow water near the shore.
Mostly dark brown, I saw at least a couple greyish with a black spot on each side near the anal fin.
Several patches of this along the lower trails.
Trying to hide...
It had wings and could fly, moved quickly on foot across the path, almost like a spider.
Thanks to Leslie for the ID
Thanks to Liam O'Brien, this is a male Field Crescent.
