Lower surface tan with round, white cyphellae. This reminds me of Sticta fuliginosa - but the upper surface isn't very granular....

This tree is located in an urban setting and planted in a residential neighborhood. There are two very similar trees planted about 100 feet apart. One plant appeared to bear fruit, and the other-- nearly identical tree did not bear any.
