Hundreds swarming around trees.
This one had stunted wings and couldn't fly. Maybe it had just emerged? There was another with full wings close-by.
Coyote on ridge above trail. Took a few photos then rode around corner to find a mother and two cubs drinking from the water bucket placed on the trail for horses. They all ran off before I could get a shot.

Bobcat sat in a newly cut grass field waiting patiently for something to move. It was still there two hours later when I came back
I'm fascinated by the butterflies I find on complete sidewalk habitats....
