Found under the same rock as the other ones that were my last finds from the day.
These were the last guys I found today. Found 6 in all and they were huge.
My very first juvenile arboreal salamander. When I first found him I thought he was dead. But he was full of energy.
I think this is part of sea palm.
Was closed up. I couldn't tell what it was.
I believe this is a California mussel.
Hundreds of these guys.
Found n the beach.
2 fishermen caught all these guys. They were gonna have a great dinner.
Found on the ground in the grass. Was really cool.
Probably an intergrade. Sorry for the horrible pictures. I wasn't taking the pictures and it was hard to tell someone how to work my camera while he was peeing and pooping on me. The pooping on me was a first. Never had an animal poop on me.
This poor guy was missing his front arm.
I was excited to find one like this.
Lots of these guys out today.
Was very huge. Growing on a dead pine tree.
Another one found today. There were a lot more found but they escaped before any pictures were taken.
Second one found today.
The first one found today. Was found in an almost dried place underneath a rock. I added some water so he could stay there longer.
These guys are beautiful birds. These were 2 look outs while the rest of the flock was hunting.
Was finally able to get a picture of these guys. They were flying low to the ground today.
Found some blooming.
Was found halfway out of a beer bottle. Poor guy was soaked in beer. We were able to get him out and he happily ran away. He was also washed with water.
I almost stepped on this guy. I was surprised he was out early in the morning. It was 8:00. Was a lot more docile than other alligator lizards I have caught.
Was making a nest.
These guys were fat. This was only one but all of them were really big and fat. Also, they were comfortable with people.
I believe this is manzanita. Was growing in the habitat restoration area.
Pretty flowers. Grew in the habitat restoration area. Any help would be appreciated.
Any help would be appreciated. Was very comfortable with humans. Did not immediately fly away when I went up to him.
