Stuck in traffic. Might as well bird.
About a dozen, at least one tom, feeding on bank and just north of Codornices Creek at the Ohlone Greenway (opposite 1200 Masonic).
Two females at walnut street in north Berkeley, ca about 8:30am
34 ravens began grooming and calling from utility poles and lines, the numbers dwindled to 10, and rapidly increased to around 94. Ravens came and went, vocalized, and groomed.
2 hens foraging
A whole flock of hens, no toms, spread over 1 1/2 block area. Maybe 20+ in number.
There are two Calidris in the lower right. I'm pretty sure I can see black legs, but, as usual, that could be mud.
Both these images were cropped at the same scale so you can compare sizes. The second one shows an individual with a down-turned bill.
Looked pretty feral. People probably feed them.
Definitely not normal plumage.
