This was taken outside of my window this morning. I'm trying to i.d. the whistling song, I know there are a bunch of different birds present in this recording. You can start really hearing it around the 16 second mark, and really clearly around 22 seconds. I've been hearing this bird since yesterday but it's a new song to the usual "soundscape" outside of my window
Western Gull snoozing in the foreground.
Huge family of 12!!
Found underneath a log
On a coast live oak tree
Probably Anna's, but weird throat patch.
Only got one blurry photo before it flew off
What is this bird? Thanks all for the id
Reddish-brown pileus, glandular dots on stipe. Growing near Monterey pine.
iPhone through scope.
