Growing on a stick in our yard a few days after the rain, very slimy at base
I was driving up Centennial and saw 3 toms and at least 7 hens. There could have been more, but I could not stop to count

Not fertile yet so kind of unconfirmable
Feels rough, not soft.
Note to self: count the stones of Cotoneaster fruit to distinguish C. franchetii from C. lacteus.
