I found this on the bottom side of a willow leaf. I assume it is some insect's egg-laying place?

Slightly smaller than the Anna's that visited the feeder just before it, and noticeably larger than the Calliope that came right after it. The bird in the photos is in the shade.
Small hummingbird, smaller than Anna's and Allen's, both of which visited the feeder immediately before the Calliope. No red was visible, but that is probably due to the light angle. The bird in the photo is in the shade.
Nodal bristles: 3, internodal bristles present but not dense.
