tufted perennial, blue-green leaves. Slight possibility this is Carex serratodens, soils may have some serpentine influence. Point moved to Lagoon Fire Road.

was excited to see lots of these caterpillars munching on worse-for-wear looking French broom which is a brutal invasive in the watershed - maybe its finally met its match?
