In ephemeral creek bed on Madrone Trail, Fairfield Osborn Preserve; invasive
A very busy tiny bird, smaller than a sparrow, it never stopped moving! It looked like it was eating little insects on and around the bushes. Slate grey colour above with pale underside. Gnatcatcher?
Found on trail by gate at bridge between parking area and first settling pond at Las Gallinas sewage treatment facility. Had apparently been stepped on earlier today.
