Clapper Rail feeding in the tidal marsh

Probably a juvenile, not sure what genus.
The rail foraged in the mud and shore of the creek for ten minutes, then swam under the kayak launch dock.
Stashed in a buckeye pantry by some squirrel, I reckon.
5 beetles on dead remnants of bristly oxtongue
on rock at Deer Park trail; very dry habitat. Beetles were less than 0.5 cm long each.
guessing bobcat based on size and segmentation
buckeye fruits stashed in hollow of tree trunk by some critter, who also threw in an "oak apple" gall for good measure
