Description
A Northern Harrier was spotted on the fence at Giacomini Wetlands at Pt. Reyes Station, CA. The harrier had the distinctive white rump and was reddish brown, overall (probably female). The bird then took off, flying close to the ground, right above the marsh...a distinctive flying trait of this species.
