Just guessing on the flatworm ID. About an inch long (though they seemed to range from roughly a half-inch to 2 inches), huge populations of them in shallower waters (probably 3-10 feet) all along the west bank of Tomales Bay. Lavender-tinged and fluttered gracefully; looked like little corkscrews at first glance (this guy is resting on a paddle). Thanks!
