I'm assuming this is the mandible of a Mule Deer, but I'm not a bone expert.

Beautifully blended in with the dusty, golden grasses around it. Posed for a picture perfectly.
Saw several of these butterflies on a flowering coyote brush.
A blond big-eyed extremely long and bushy tail, only saw terminal black ring in the dark while driving by. Size of a small raccoon, not particularly fast, but watched it crawl over rocks or brush at the edge of bishop pine stand.
