At least, I think it is a kind of mollusk. Must be millions washed up on McLure's beach. The anemones are devouring them.
Looks like a phacelia but I don't find a yellow Phacelia.
So sad to see a roadkill badger.
These were buzzing around near the ground on a coastal Point Reyes trail. They would stop on top of one another briefly then fly away.
These were found along a coastal trail with lots of lupine and coyote brush in Point Reyes.

Not a happy badger; don't know what happened to it.
