Red-necked Phalarope, Point Reyes National Shore.
On a gray morning, when not too many other birds were encountered, came across a flock of breeding plumaged Red-necked Phalarope in a dam along Pierce Point Road. It was quite mesmerizing watching a number of them twirling on the water. Large sizes better for all pictures.
