Each individual about 46 x 20 µm.
The plates are clearly squarish. Some individuals have apical spines.
This little creature is so 3-dimensional and fast moving that it is hard to capture in a single picture.

Hoping I can get an ID, but no flower on this one. Growing under willows in a sandbar on the side facing away from the river. Leaf shape was interesting all the way up the stalk, shaped like sheep sorrel.
